Beginners’ Instruments:

A small number of student instruments are available to members who would like to learn the viola da gamba but do not own an instrument.  Instruments may be used free of charge for a period of six months.  Depending on demand, use of the instrument may be extended beyond the original 6-month period for a small rental fee.

Consort groups:

The VdGS-SA welcomes new members and will be a contact point for those who want to form new consort groups.  If you are interested in playing in a consort, please fill out the consort group information requested on your membership form.

The ideal consort will have 4-6 members; all voices (tr, T, B) represented; and include members whose skill levels are reasonably well matched.
