If you are happy with your computer system and the support you have received from its manufacturer/s and/or vendor/s, perhaps you have found the wrong site. Even if you think that is true, please read on anyway, at least until you decide that this is truly uninteresting stuff.
Why buy something from a company that won't talk to you? Or, one which makes you pay long-distance phone bills during prime-rate phone times, only in order to be put on endless hold, and then to have to pay for "technical advice" that may well turn out to be totally incompetent?
Computer users who try to keep their systems anything like current face such problematic situations all the time! I believe that it is time to change these things for the better!
This site is dedicated to doing what I can to improve the support of computer users by computer vendors and manufacturers. However, this is not a battle that can be won by any single person's efforts. Only when other computer users join in a hue and cry of outrage that begins to put a dent in the profits of offending companies and corporations, will this situation be turned around for the better, in my humble opinion (IMHO).
So, enough with the preaching, already!
