Iomega, Class Act or Class Action?: A Continuing Study Into How Iomega Treats Its Customers

Would you like to chat with others about your problems with Iomega? Then try out the following chat tool! (This chat tool is similar to but not the same as IRC.)
To do this, you will need a Java-enabled browser capable of handling applets. I THINK that the earliest Netscape browser that can do this is v.2.02, but I may be incorrect on that.
Instructions: When you have selected a nickname (you type in the box at the bottom of the chat window) and are online, just type .help or /help to get a brief list of subcommands. Then type /join iomega (forget the capital letter, as they do not deserve such respect!) and see whether or not anybody else is lurking there, already! Stick around a while and see whether or not anybody joins you!
Please let me know whether or not this feature is useful and whether or not you think that I should keep it.
I have decided to take you directly to channel iomega. If you find nobody there and want to banter with others, just enter
However, a WARNING is in order:
is often crude, lewd, and rude;
enter at your own risk!
Even so, this chat tool offers the potential of a place to hold meaningful conversations in such channels as iomega.
If you want to meet me in channel iomega, drop me a quick email! I might be able to join you rather quickly, as I check email often, most of the time. : )
Do you like that?
You can learn how to add a chat tool to your own site by visiting
The Internet Chat Exchange! by
But before you decide just what to do, you might like to go directly to SPiN's site at
http://www.spin.de/commline
For instance, the "Royal Client" lets you have several chat sessions open at once, while the "Premium Client" lets you have a conversation so private that even the site's webmaster can not listen in -- but you can't visit the iomega channel from there.
By the way, you might like to visit "Seatbelts for School Buses"
Thank you for your interest!
