In 2006, the timing and opportunity was right for each of our kids, Eric, Jerry and Teresa to get their own 4x4 trucks. I was able to get out at least once with each of them and there was one opportunity for everyone to get together on the same day.
Jerry got his Cherokee Sport in January of 2006 and we took it for a try-out in the Willow Springs area north of Tucson.

In February, Teresa formally took over my 2002 DC Tacoma. We took it for a ride along the Gila River north of Florence Arizona.
In November while in California for our granddaughter's 3rd birthday, we got to go on a ride in the desert west of Ocotillo with our son Eric, his wife Amy, their two kids and their brand new Toyota Tundra.

For the Thanksgiving weekend of 2006, we were able to get together with Eric and his family , Jerry and his girlfriend, Teresa, and my friend Mike to head for the hills for the day.
