Cam’s family loves kids.  His father is a pediatrician and his mother is a teacher.  They adopted Cam and his two older sisters as infants.  Cam’s dad looks forward to baseball games and swimming at the cottage, while his mother looks forward to knitting booties and family dinners.  Cam’s oldest sister, Kathy, has two boys and three girls, while his other sister, Ann, has two boys and a girl.  We are godparents to Kathy’s children.  Our child will be raised with lots of cousins in an extended family that is very supportive of adoption.

We are also very close to Cam’s Aunt Nora and Uncle Allan, who live nearby.  Since moving to Seattle, they have been like another set of parents to us, and they are eagerly anticipating becoming surrogate grandparents.  Nora is a pediatrician and Allan lives for holidays.  We look forward to weekly visits, trips to their lighthouse, and holiday magic.
