Rex's first marriage was to a woman named Joyce, and their first and only child, Trevor, was born on June 3rd, 1969. Rex and Joyce divorced within a few years and Rex didn't see his son again until just a few years ago. He had a big handful of photos of Trevor and his family, and he was especially proud to show the photos of Trevor with sculptures Trevor made. Rex Cravat's Family

"Little Rex" on a toy scooter Rex made for him out of a two by four board, roller skate wheels,a horn, a belland a red safety reflector with a bright yellow "Caution" sticker in the middle of it.
"Well", Rex said, "I wanted to be sure people could see and hear him coming." Little Rex, as his parents and their friends called him at the time, was a really speedy Scootmaster before long.
Incidentally, "Little Rex" is not Rex Buckley Cravat, Jr., as I've heard him point out to people many times if they called him "Rex Junior". His name is Rex Chauntel Cravat.
In a tribute to Rex B. Cravat in the guestbook for this site, Judy Cory says: " His son's address is: Rex Cravat....8633 W. Columbus Street, Phoenix, Az. 85037. I think it would be nice to send a card or something to this young man to let him know that his father had a purpose and that he was revered by many in the art glass community. " Amen to that, Judy!
