Our experiences of life give us a faint gleam.

We live by searching for the real

By inner silence God experience we can feel.

The divine quest begins with Who Am I

The answer comes when meditation opens the divine eye.

Divine oneness is our self discovery we must make

Inside every atom and cell the mysterious Godhead does lurk.

The Divine abides in life but lets it apparently dissolve

It is God’s will that into Spirit life will evolve.

The Eternal becoming multiple phenomena in time is His magic

The Infinite being contained in form is His fantastic trick.

When Spirit descends into matter it self imposes a limit

I blow throughout every galaxy and atom.

The worlds arose out of the still Being’s cyclonic breath

The divine sound holds the secret beyond life and death.

My seawave roar cosmically rumbles throughout as Spirit’s creative Aum

From God’s voice universes divinely evolve toward their spiritual home.

Let the mind silently listen for the liberating mystic word

The awareness of God’s pervading presence.

What can we see in consciousness’ space?

The outline of the Eternal’s baffling face.

What can we hear in our soul’s interior?

The cosmic sound that permeates nature’s exterior.

How can we know divinity?

Beyond the senses he discovered where Spirit’s lotus heart grew.

He gazed beyond thought to become lost in nirvana’s silence

He stood beyond his foaming desires to experience soul’s essence.

He braved extinction in eternal nothingness to realize the all

He opened God’s blazing door by following his soul’s call.

Ego died releasing his soul’s rebirth into the Cosmic I

By wisdom’s discrimination I know that I Am He.

In the heart I enjoy God’s radiant shapely vision

In the head my separateness merges into Spirit’s invisible union.

I worship what I already am concealed

In silent meditation my soul’s divine identity is revealed.

I love what I have always been

We must spiritually grow out of the mind’s earthly cradle.

The cosmic voice speaks when we become silently receptive

Our ears hear His song when we are love’s captive.

The eternal mind dreams the story of life’s finite creation

We know our source when God’s light dawns by aspiration.

The divine maker’s heart is won by our lifelong devotion

It passes unchanged through many bodies that are its dream.

The spark of God’s presence is beyond nature’s form

Its reality is felt when divinity comes to spiritually reform.

The absolute witness exists within for all to realize

Living in mental calm you attain Spirit’s eternal prize.

The soul is God’s flame that longs to heavenly burn

To attain that state you must meditate many months.

When all forms melt into unending light

Then Spirit’s reality appears before your awakened third eye’s sight.

Being one with the Supreme you simultaneously dissolve and expand

You will see the world being held in God’s hand.

When by concentration your separate ego consciousness disappears
