Oh Lord of Siva's dance
Put my soul in trance.
With hands and feet blessing
Let my liberated heart sing.
Moving in flaming circles expanding
With bliss I am burning.
Oh Lord of cosmic change
Your ways are very strange.
Oh Guru of the royal meditation path
You dance within my being with your terrifying laugh.
Oh man come join Siva in his dance
Whose ecstatic circle will end your soul's ignorance.
Siva's dancing ring of fire
Revolves by a divine desire.
Siva claps his hands loudly
Aum's thunderous music flows continuously.
Siva's upraised leg points heavenly
Moving around the worlds rapidly.
Siva's fire creates and destroys
Through cosmic dance he enjoys.
By Siva's tapas he makes the devotees dance
Through meditation he leads them into samadhi's trance.
Siva lights man's soul by dancing on his ego
He is the liberating transformer directing the cosmic show.
Nataraja whirls around the universe in a frenzied dance
Sparks of divine glory shoot out of his blessing glance.
Nataraja beats the drum and man's heart begins to jump with joy
God's waves of bliss the devotee starts to enjoy.
The flaming liberator whose dance reveals to man Omkar's vibration
Is Lord Siva who inwardly guides yogis to self realization.
Lord Siva is the cosmic dancer making the worlds revolve
His love and power cause the soul to spiritually evolve.
On a mountain summit Siva does his dance of liberation
Universes explode and are born with each footstep's rotation.
His hands move in a wild circle throwing everything away
His trident shoots with thunder issuing in God's day.
Siva is free because he dances outside of nature
In his divine mood today becomes the hoped for future.
On time's drum Siva plays the music of Aum's sound
When Siva's dance of liberation manifests then God is found.
