Buddha entered the forest to show man renunciation
He practiced austerities in his quest for illumination.
He gave up the wealth of his kingdom
In his inner search for finding eternal wisdom.
The Buddha was tempted by allurements of illusion
By controlling his mind he gained truth’s vision.
The Buddha discovered the experience of nirvana’s peace
In that state all desires of man cease.
Under the Bo tree the Buddha sat motionless
His mind had become totally still and desireless.
He reached within the world where illumination does shine
His self merged in eternity free from ignorance’s dividing line.
The master spread beyond India his message of peace
Man can experience nirvana when his thoughts cease.
The Buddha taught harmony to end within man’s mental storm
His wisdom liberates the seeker into truth beyond form.
We must enter the nothing to see the all
We must grow spiritually tall.
We must embrace the mind’s annihilation
We must create perception’s divine transformation.
We must deny all thoughts admission
We must see the human life as a transition.
When everything is vacant peace alone remains
When nirvana blows out the mind emancipation the sage attains.
I am the living Buddha ever free
There is no birth or death for me.
I have opened the door where all is one
Beyond my detached mind flies the flag of wisdom’s sun.
I create within my own worlds of conscious existence
Nature’s cycle of karma has left my presence.
I exist in nirvana blowing out all earthly duality
I realized within the living Buddha as my real identity.
