Tom's younger brother John, staffing a booth for the Sheepscot River Conservation Association (SVCA) at the Common Ground Fair in Unity, Maine, September 2002. John serves on the SVCA Board of Directors, and is the resident caretaker for the SVCA's headquarters in Shepscot Village, Maine (just north of Wiscasset). He is a Licensed Professional Forester, working as a forestry consultant and operating a cable skidder to harvest wood from private woodlots in an environmentally sound manner. |

Robert has two older sons from a previous marriage to Nancy Phinney of
Santa Barbara. Jonathan Wentzel, the older, and James Wentzel, the younger,

States Air Force Academy two weeks earlier. James graduated from the
Academy in 2006, and is currently living in Del Rio, Texas. |

Tom, John, and Phil are incognito on the front porch of the Monhegan House, a hotel on tiny Monhegan Island, thirteen miles off the coast of Maine. 2000. We have always taken the Monhegan Boat Line out of Port Clyde to reach the island, but service is also provided by Balmy Day Cruises out of Boothbay Harbor and Hardy Boat Cruises out of New Harbor. |
