| Each year The Rotary Foundation, of Rotary International, funds over 500 Group Study Exchange teams from 161 countries to travel to another country, another Rotary District for a cultural and vocational experience. Its purpose is to build world peace through world understanding. Teams of four or five non-Rotarian business and professional men and woman, ages 25 to 40, are selected for a four to six week exchange. The team is lead by a Rotarian. It is true exchange, as a team from the host country also send a team to the other District.
